We all love being part of a community in which the sense of School Spirit is genuine and deep. Barker is such a community. There is a sense of closeness and inclusiveness that parents and students alike come to value and appreciate about Barker. The sense of enthusiasm for being part of the 'Red Fever' is not confined to the First Teams or to the high profile events. The vigorous support of parents is apparent across the School.
The School's Community is made up of many groups that each contribute to the unique spirit of Barker. You can read more about our Alumni, Barker College Mothers’ Association, Sport Supporter Groups, Friends of Barker Music and the Kurrajong Society, in the following pages.
We acknowledge the Darug and the Guringai people who are the traditional custodians of the land on which Barker College stands. We pay respect to the elders past and present of the Darug and Guringai nations and extend that respect to other Aboriginal people within the Barker College community.
