On Campus Facilities
  • Health Care Centre - staff are able to visit the School Clinic if they are feeling unwell, or need on-the-spot medical assistance. Flu vaccination is offered to all staff without charge prior to winter.
  • ACCESS Employee Assistance Program – provides independent, confidential and professional assistance to staff experiencing work-related, personal or health problems.
  • Aquatic Centre – access to the 25m pool for recreational use is available to all staff – the timetable varies from season to season. Swimming lessons are also available to staff and their families at discounted prices.
  • Gymnasium – access to the gym and weights room from 6.45am to 11.00am and 3.30pm to 6.00pm daily. A free consultation and personalised program are available from the Strength and Conditioning Coach on request. This is also available to family members.
  • Library Services – there are two Libraries at Barker. Staff may borrow from either Library, and are encouraged to take advantage of the after-hours and Saturday opening times .
  • IT Helpdesk - offer timely, efficient and user friendly service which is easily accessible by all staff.
  • Print Room / Stationery – an on site print room provides all stationery and text book needs.
  • Parking - both undercover and open area parking is available to all staff.

Off Campus Facilities

  • Outdoor Education Centres - the School has two properties “The Grange” at Mount Victoria and Barrington River Lodge which are used as Outdoor Education Centres. These facilities are available for staff use.
Other Employee Benefits:
  • Plays & Concerts - staff are entitled to two free tickets to a number of plays and concerts produced by the Drama or Music Departments.
