Curriculum

Barker's curriculum in the Middle School lays secure foundations for success in Senior years.  We continue our strong traditional commitment to the core subjects of English, Maths, Science, History, Geography, PDHPE and Christian Studies, and we also provide an increased opportunity for students to explore their interests and abilities in the Key Learning Areas of Technological and Applied Studies, and Creative and Peforming Arts.

In Year 9 the pattern of study changes to incorporate various elective courses.  Every effort is made to allow students the widest possible elective subject choice.
