You are here:HomeFacilitiesTourFoundation Science Centre Foundation Science Centre Completed in 2000, the Foundation Science Centre contains 10 laboratories with computerised data acquisition equipment and access points to the School network as well as data projection facilities. There are also four project laboratories where students can work in small groups on extension projects. The flat roof area has a glasshouse for seedling and plant production, solar energy panels, rainfall and other weather monitoring devices. The 108 seat Fellows Theatre was named in honour of five prominent Barker College Old Boys who have achieved eminence of a Fellowship of the Australian Academy of Science (FAA), the highest honour this country can confer on a scientist. < back | next >
