General Enrolment Information
Barker seeks to enrol children who will be able to benefit from the academic program we offer, who are willing to participate in a full range of activities available, and whose families understand and are supportive of the Christian aims and objectives of the School.
We believe that Barker has much to offer students with a wide range of interests and capabilities. We provide the opportunity for students to excel in their individual endeavours. However, it is of the utmost importance to us that each student is able to gain maximum benefit from the programs we offer, and it may simply be the case that the programs at Barker College do not suit your child. Our Co-curricular, Outdoor Education and Sport programs are compulsory parts of our students' experience - from Years 3 to 12. Download your application form here.
Barker is not registered to accept enrolments from international fee paying students.
Boarding Commences in Year 10
Co-Ed Boarding at Barker commences in Year 10. Barker is committed to supporting country families and preference is given to country students. Country families are encouraged to contact the Enrolments Office prior to a visit to Sydney to arrange a tour. We would be delighted to show you our school and boarding facilities.
Boarders are expected to board for a complete school year and a term's notice of withdrawal is expected at the end of Term 3 if a boarder is not continuing the following year.
All boarding places are offered and held at the Head's discretion.
If you would like to make application for your son or daughter to attend Barker College apply online for a prospectus pack which contains a prospectus and enrolment form. Or download a copy of the Prospectus here and our enrolment registration form.

The Council of Barker College sets the fees for application for enrolment at Barker College and reviews these from time to time. The current charges are:
On application you will be required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of $300. The student's name will be registered on a waiting list.
This fee applies only for entry in Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, Year 3, 5 and 7 entry and is 50% of the current Admission Fee. Payment of this $2100 fee holds a place for these entry points only and is not refundable or transferable.
When a place is offered, all parents will be required to pay a non-transferable nor non-refundable Admission Fee of $4200 for Junior and Middle School entry and $2800 for Senior School entry. For each student this sum is payable as a single payment on acceptance of a place and prior to the student entering the School.
Fee invoices are issued prior to the commencement of each term and are payable within the first 10 days of term. Payment by Direct Debit is available and information is given to parents prior to paying their fees at the beginning of each school year. All fees and charges are reviewed annually.
