New Northbridge to Barker service
This new service commences at the Northbridge Shops on Sailors Bay Road and travels to Barker via Castlecrag, Middle Cove, Castle Cove, Roseville Chase, Roseville and Killara.
Four dedicated bus services for students
Barker provides four dedicated bus services that pick up and set down at the Secondary and Junior Schools each and every morning and afternoon of School term. The first route commences at Newport on the Northern Beaches, the second commences at Terrey Hills and travels via St Ives, the third route commences at Cammeray and from Term 2 2013, a new route commencing at Northbridge will commence.
This bus service is provided by North Sydney Bus Charters (Phone - 9427 8533). The buses are air conditioned and equipped with seat belts, which all students are required to wear as a passenger on the bus. The bus is clearly branded as Barker College. All students using the service must carry a current pass issued by the School.
The cost for the return trip on both routes is $275 per term, or $140 for a one-way trip (either morning or afternoon). A book of ten casual bus tickets may be purchased for $60 and can be used only on the afternoon services. Application may be made for a Term Pass (AM & PM, AM only or PM only) or a book of casual tickets, by completing the Application Form below.
